Fire pump
We’re Fire Pump Room Piping System Suppliers & Dealers in Pune. A fire pump generally refers to a pressure-adding element of the water flow for fixed-place fire repression systems similar to fire sprinklers, stovepipes, and froth systems. Fire pumps are also a critical element integrated into fire exchanges and fire boats, and serve an analogous purpose, boosting water inventories for fire fighting sock operations. Fire pumps are used to increase the pressure of water sourced from an external underground water force pipeline network, or a static force(e.g., tank, force, lake). A fire pump is a centrifugal- or positive relegation pump that has been tested and listed by a third-party testing and listing agency, similar to UL or FM Global, specifically for fire service use. The main standard that governs fire pump fixed-place installations in India is the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 20 Standard for the Installation of Stationary Fire Pumps for Fire Protection.
Stovepipes
When stovepipes are fixed into structures, the pipe is in place permanently with an input generally located near a road or driveway, so that a fire machine can supply water to the system. The pen stock extends into the structure to supply fire-fighting water to the innards of the structure via sock outlets, frequently located between each brace of bottoms in stairwells in high-rise structures. Dry stovepipes aren’t filled with water until demanded in firefighting. Firefighters frequently bring hoses in with them and attach them to pen stock outlets located along the pipe throughout the structure. This type of pen stock may also be installed horizontally on islands.
